What tax implications are associated with Landed's down payment program?

Landed is not a tax advisor and does not provide tax advice.

Note: Due to a temporary unavailability of DPP investment funds, all Landed metro areas are being put on a DPP waitlist effective September 8, 2022. You can read all the details (including FAQs) here if you would like to know more.

Landed is responsible for its taxes, and you are responsible for your taxes. Under current tax law, you should not need to pay taxes when you receive the cash Landed's down payment program provides towards your home purchase.

You may owe taxes when your partnership with the program ends (the Landed Option is exercised or expired, or you buy it out early through a sale of your home or otherwise).

Please consult your financial advisor.
